1997: Received a BA in Photojournalism from Marquette University
1997-98: Sudied in Prague under documentary photography masters like Karel Cudlin, Antonin Kratochvil, and Victor Kolarz. Worked with photo agency Spectrum Pictures under war photographer (now professional sailor) Lee Malis.
1998-2001: One of the first Interactive Art Directors at Euro RSCG’s Chicago office. Also worked at Tribal DDB and with Microsoft Sidewalk.
2000: One of the youngest photographers chosen to participate in CITY 2000, a year-long citywide documentary project now archived at the University of Illinois at Chicago.
2001: Created Fierce Flora, a website featuring exceptional female artists from around the world.
2002: Mentored at Hamilton Gray Photography in Los Angeles and studied under renowned fine art photographer Roxann Arwen Mills.
2002: Joined Tribune Media as their Creative Director in Los Angeles.
2005-Present: Founder and Creative Director of Ford/Visuals digital branding studio. Serving startups and small businesses across the country with strategic brand guidance, creative direction and online development.
2008: Launched Detangle.Us, a curated selection of beautiful creations and inspiration from around the world.
2013: Launched Poolside Projects for the Brave and Curious.
